Pretty good news about my Dad. Both Oncologists said that they are fairly confident that the cancer has not spread but they have ordered a CAT scan to be sure. The only problem is that for some reason, the Dr. who did the surgery to remove the tumor did not get all of it. We are thinking that it is because part of the tumor is in a tendon or ligament - the Oncologists are going to find out for sure. If they are able to go in and remove the rest of the tumor, and as long as the scan comes back clear, he may not have to have radiation at all. If they are not able to remove the tumor then he will have to undergo localized radiation short term. The prayer now is for a clear CAT scan. Thanks so much to everyone for all of the prayers!!!
