Pretty much one of the worst days on record for me! If anyone sees anything negative about me on the vernon/Beauregard for sale group page, please let me know. A quick rundown why: I had an order for a lady that was scheduled to be ready tomorrow. She asked if I could do it a day early, and although that would set me back, I agreed because she sent me customers and Im just a nice gal. Well, as I was doing them today, of course nothing goes right. Im used to that and it normally works out. Well, during the middle of the chaos, I get a call from a friend in hysterics because of bad news she received about a loved one. No details, but lets say its one of the worst things a person could ever and should never have to deal with. So after talking to her for a while, my mind could no longer focus on anything but her. In the meantime, my customer was nearly here to pick up her order. Long drive, might I add. One of her hoodies apparently arrived with a defect I hadnt noticed before so I offered to mail it to her once I was done, at my expense. Then everything that could go wrong with the other 2 did! Long story short, to avoid her waiting any longer, I apologized and offered to let her take what was completed, finish the rest tomorrow, and to mail it to her. Not to mention that I would only charge her for the 2 that were done. That would be $110 worth of items for $50. She said she needed 2 by Tuesday so I offered to drive north of Leesville on Sunday to deliver them. On top of me losing $60, I would also have to pay for gas. Big loss but Im a people pleaser. She walked outside to make a phone call but instead left. Everyone knows I have a temper, but I also have to make a living so I have to pick and choose my battles. Besides, I truly felt terrible but Im also tired and have zero fight right now. In the comments are what i sent her. I just dont want her bashing me and cause me to lose business because of this isolated incident. She blocked me so I wont know. I will probably only use my PayPal and USPS from now on with customers that far away and will no longer be able to move any orders up once a date is set. Grrrrr!!!!! Please pray for my friend!! She and her family really need it right now!!
