Previously Released: Supercrawl Music Sneak Peek Announcement Supercrawl is thrilled to announce the Saturday Hamilton International Airport Stage (main stage) headliner as well as the line-up for Saturday’s Colbourne (second) Stage. Creating their distinct brand of rock n’ roll since 1993, Austins Spoon have consistently been regarded as one of the best bands of the past decade. Headlining the Hamilton International Airport Stage (main stage) of Supercrawl just weeks after the release of their eighth studio album (They Want My Soul on Loma Vista Recordings/Universal Music out on August 5), Spoon return to the spotlight after a two-year hiatus. See Spoon premiere their new single “The Rent I Pay” on NPR. Closing the evening on the Colbourne Stage on Saturday is UK electronic artist Four Tet. After releasing his seventh album, 2013’s Beautiful Rewind, Four Tet has toured non-stop playing festivals and high profile gigs around the world. Earlier Saturday, the main stage will feature performances from How To Dress Well, Hamilton Leithauser (lead singer of The Walkmen), and Eight and a Half (Justin Peroff of Broken Social Scene along with Dave Hamelin and Liam ONeil of The Stills). Saturday will also highlight a special package of artists from the critically acclaimed UK-based Hyperdub label on the Colbourne Stage, featuring Hamilton’s own break-out star Jessy Lanza. Jessy’s 2013 album Pull My Hair Back featured prominently on dozens of “Best of 2013” lists. Also appearing from Hyperdub will be label founder Kode9, Ikonika, DJ Spinn, and Scratcha DVA.
