Prince Crescence Adesokan > ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIALIST HEALTH CLUB Everytime people complains of unemployment in environmental health profession,I always see reasons to support such a popular notion,but in exeption,I also sees reasons to challenge the professional colleague for contributing to institutional idleness of the past,the future does not belong to the EHOAN,neither does it belong to the EHORECON which had borrowed so much of foreign ideology which support few ambition at the expense of the many jobless environmental health officers.EHOAN in most of the states too are just figure head people who sit down enjoying the success of the past without thinking of the successor which would usher in the profession into a great height.it is so sad,that the EHOAN officers were in Nigeria and the government had refused to employ millions of unemployed environmental health officers.THe officers in the house or in embryo too should equip themselves with many intellectual materials so as to boost their efficiency in the course of didcharging their duty.We should as a matter of urgency take actions that wolud allow speedy legislations that would allow for the operation of officers of the environment.sanita sanitatis Sat · ENVIRONMENTAL SOC... Amidu Which brings the question, how will you equip yourself with intellectual materials when you are being denied responsibilities. We have been shoved to the other side of the pan as far as am concerned, believing what we can do others can do it, and thats because we let out our secret ingredients. Fumigation as an example which is supposed to be a sole responsibility of an Eho`s, an ordinary guy on the street will fumigate for you, amazingly, eho`s even patronised. Another vain, no query or question asked cause no legislation has been put to place to control that said exercise. Reasons you should support the notion of eho`s unemployment are so many that it cant begin to be mentioned here, our forefathers in the profession didnt prepare and demand right from this profession from this government before it became modernize, the government has so involved politics in which our fathers in the profession merits from and affecting the future of we children. Now on the notion of the professional colleagues who are the `children`, the so called figure head prepare for the grand children, when an average one could not even define the word environmental. I just believe it has become an individual fight, u cant beat them dont join them. We still have our battle equipments I.e, the law, constitution, rights and most of all our knowledge as an environmentalist only of we show the right attitude. Sanita sanitatis.
