Principal Post: Taking responsibility, no excuses, and accountability all fall under the same category for me. Since we have been focused on accountability in chapel the last few weeks, I have been focusing on this part of my life. The other day, I heard myself say I was late because of my children. Then I remembered: I am accountable. I am late because I did not hold my children accountable for following the plan or my plan was weak. That’s why we were late, not the children. WHAT AN EYE OPENER! I have really started focusing on accountability as a parent and school leader. Holding others and myself accountable is not easy, but it is well worth the relationships built and the outcomes. God expects accountability. Spend time thinking about accountability. No excuses. Be accountable today!!!
