Principles to help you live and finish well This life is the only time you will have the privilege of being light in a dark world, and to walk by faith. In heaven there will be no need. No race is more important than the one you run for Jesus. All you do will be tested by fire. Live so that as little as possible shall be burned up so that He shall receive glory. The greatest reward of all is to please the Master and have something to lay at His precious feet. To hear these words: “Well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord” will be the best of all rewards. Seasons of waiting on God and listening for His speaking often precede everything significant God will do in your life. God waits for you to wait on Him. “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who works for the one who waits for Him.” Isaiah 64:4 Make it your life’s goal to live and finish well—maintain an intimate relationship with Jesus, seek God’s glory in all things, and leave behind a Kingdom deposit in the lives of younger men and women who will carry the banner forward.
