Thee Dark Ages, a legendary El Cajon band consisting of Jack Butler (now Private Domain) and Jerry Raney (Beat Farmers), wrote and recorded 6 new songs for A Box Full of Rocks, a great documentary by Raul Sandelin. There are also 9 other songs by other artists, all written to honor El Cajon’s Lester Bangs. Phillip Seymour Hoffman played Lester in the awesome movie Almost Famous.
