ProBAR Children’s Project is hiring attorneys and paralegals to provide legal services to detained children in the Rio Grande Valley border region of South Texas. There are now more than 1,100 children detained in the region, up from 369 two years ago. ProBAR is hiring in order to expand its services to newly opened detention shelters. ProBAR Children’s Project currently has a team of seven attorneys and 16 paralegals. ProBAR represents children in applying for immigration relief such as Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, asylum, T visas, U visas, DACA and more. Applicants must be fluent in Spanish and motivated to assist immigrant children with their legal cases. To apply, please complete the online application.
