ProTip: When growing out your beard, DO NOT take your first trip to a barber lightly. I wanted to have my beard shaped up a bit so it wasnt too scraggly for a trip this coming weekend. I made it very clear I was growing it out, and wanted to keep as much length as possible. The barber ended up taking over an inch off my length by the time they were done. Needless to say, Im quite unhappy about how my day is going so far, and I really miss the beard Ive been growing the past 5 weeks or so. Ill be certain to never go to another barber until I have a direct referral from a fellow bearded friend. Now I have another 4 weeks of growing to even get back to where I was this morning before disaster struck my follicles :(
