Probably didnt get the news we were hoping for today from the meeting but all hope is not lost as yet. Still working on the concept of getting the water allocated to Iluka Mining but the whole scheme is a bit of a logistical nightmare ! 5000 mega litres is a distinct possibility and it wont come cheap. Will be some serious lobbying of key players, authorities and government in the next few weeks. Stick with us and be patient and diplomatic here as we have made some good inroads today on several fronts. Just like to acknowledge the fine work by VRFISH representatives Dallas and Rob today. Also those willing to get on board and support this great cause. We are doing our best and at the end of the day we can hold our heads high as a group in conjunction with our supporting associates and say we gave our best shot at saving what is widely regarded as Australias premier trout fishery.
