Probably half of our income comes from doing the things on the job that we don’t like to do – fast pace, multi-tasking, working with difficult people under unpleasant circumstances. If the job was easy and pleasant, someone else could be found to do the job for about half of what you’re being paid. When you reflect on that fact, it will help you to like your job and accept it with a better attitude. Here is a fact of life: If you will tackle the unpleasant parts of the job with a sense of excitement, you will get a deep sense of satisfaction out of handling them well. This approach will eventually enable you to qualify for a better job. Remember that cheerful people with a good attitude, who work hard and accomplish difficult things, are always in demand in the marketplace. This simply means that by giving your unpleasant job your best shot, you’re qualifying for a more pleasant one at a higher salary. Think about it. Get busy. Copied from Damodar Reddy
