Probably the most iconic Muppet song, and arguably their best too. It is, in every sense of the word, The Muppets Over The Rainbow; as AllMusic put it, it openly establishes the characters driving urge for something more in their lives. Named as the 74th greatest movie song of all time in AFIs 100 Years.... 100 Songs, it inexplicably lost out to a song from NORMA RAE at the Oscars. Tie the power of the song in with the marvels of how Jim Henson, taken from us far too soon, brought Kermit to life, and its hard - nay, impossible - to make it through this clip with a dry eye.
