Probleme vir die nommer twee op die podium : Daniel Ricciardos second place finish at the Australian Grand Prix is under investigation by the stewards after he exceeded the maximum fuel flow allowed under the regulations. As part of Formula Ones new fuel regulations fuel flow to the engine is limited to a maximum rate of 100kg per hour. Each car is fitted with an FIA fuel flow sensor to monitor the rate and Ricciardos Red Bull was found to have exceeded consistently the maximum allowed fuel flow. The statement from FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer added: As this is not in compliance with Article 5.1.4 of the 2014 Formula One Technical Regulations, I am referring this matter to the stewards for their consideration. The FIA made clear at the start of the Australian Grand Prix weekend that it would have a zero-tolerance approach to breaches of the fuel regulations. Red Bull team representatives have been called to the stewards office to offer their side of the story.
