VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES MARITIME ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURE FOR THE REGISTRATION OF SHIP Application for Registration; Minimum Safe Manning Application; Proof of ownership or copy of legalised and/or apostilled Bill of Sale or copy of Purchase Contract or Builder’s Certificate; Good Standing Certificate (of the Owning company); Copy of ISM Document of Compliance of vessel’s operator to be submitted by the issuing organization and a copy of the short term (or interim) SMC or confirmation from authorized organization that same is being issued (if applicable); ISM Code Declaration of Company (if applicable); Permission for Transfer or recent Transcript of Register and/or recent Non-Encumbrance Certificate or Deletion Certificate from the present registry; Copy of International Tonnage Certificate, 1969; Confirmation from the Classification Society that the vessel is in class without outstanding recommendation and has valid statutory certificates. Classification Society also to confirm that the vessels class will be retained under new Ownership/Flag and that new statutory certificates will be issued after completion of the necessary surveys; Accounting Authority Identification Code (A.A.I.C.) / P.S.A. and confirmation from the Authority that they are settling the Radio Traffic Accounts; LRIT Conformance Test Report when applicable (see Circ. SOL 030); Payment of registration and annual fees. a) And when the I.S.P.S. Code is applicable : All Continuous Synopsis Records Company Security Officer Declaration Confirmation from authorized organization that the interim I.S.S.C. is being issued Application Form for Continuous Synopsis Record Original or certified true copy of Bill of Sale legalised and/or apostilled or Builder’s Certificate; Ships Carving and Marking Note filled in and stamped by Classification Surveyor (submitted with provisional registration documents); Certificate of Deletion from previous Registry (original or certified copy); Copies of Class and Statutory Certificates including the Interim Safety Management and interim ISPS Certificates (if applicable); Continuous Synopsis Record showing the date of deletion from the former Flag (when the I.S.P.S. Code is applicable) Certificate of Entry from the vessel’s P & I (Third Party Liability, Cargo & Crew). Radio Installation Survey Report filled in and stamped by Classification Surveyor (submitted with provisional registration documents); Epirb Registration Form filled in. About SVG Yacht registration Category: SVG registrations Print Email Saint Vincent Yacht registration Saint Vincent Yacht registration St Vincent and the Grenadines is one of the leading jurisdictions for the offshore registration of ships, yachts and pleasure craft. Most clients choose to first establish a SVG offshore corporate entity (LLC/IBC) to own the ship or yacht. We would assist by forming that entity and then proceed to register the vessel with the maritime authorities. In order to perform the process, we need from you following documents: The Application Form duly completed; Letter as evidence of local registered agent of underlying company; Bill of Sale (notarised); Declaration of ownership (notarised); Certificate of Deletion from previous registry; Certificate of Survey; Certificate of Incorporation of underlying IBC or LLC in whose ame the ship will be registered; Evidence of name and competency of present Master; Abstract of Title; Proof that vessel has a call sign issued by the regulatory authorities (“NTRC”) in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Introduction The St. Vincent & the Grenadines Maritime Administration is administered by the Commissioner for Maritime Affaires, which has offices in Geneva and Monaco. The Registrar is resident in Kingstown. Ownership requirements A vessel may be registered in St. Vincent & the Grenadines by the following entities: 1. A citizen of St. Vincent & the Grenadines domiciled in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. 2. A corporate entity registered in St. Vincent & the Grenadines and having its main office in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. 3. A foreign corporate entity which has appointed a registered agent in St. Vincent & the Grenadines. Ports of Registry Kingstown is the only Port of Registry. Registration Registration under construction and permanent registration are offered. Bareboat Charter Registration is possible for registrations in or out. Restrictions Ships of any type subject to a maximum age 18 years (15 years for tankers), unless specially agreed by Commissioner for Maritime Affaires.
