Process Engineer (XLPE) - Saudi Arabia Reporting to the Department Manager, you will be part of the Production team and will be responsible for: • Performs a variety of process engineering duties in the XLPE plant. Includes monitoring performance of plants and facilities, preparing daily performance summary and recommending corrective actions to deal with abnormalities. • Prepares studies to develop, test and implement changes in plant operations. Provides functional assistance to various plant personnel in test-checking alterations, diagnosing process and corrosion problems and preparing technical specifications of operating chemicals and materials. • Prepares data for new projects and major revamps, as required As a successful candidate you will have: • Bachelor Degree in Chemical or Process Control Engineering • At least 8 years relevant work experience in petrochemical or relevant industries, including 4 years in a Process Engineer position in an XLPE plant. • Good knowledge of different pumps, extruders, pelletizers, compressors and blowers. • Ability to speak, write and communicate effectively in English. • Excellent analytical & leadership skills. • Excellent team player and HSE awareness. • Proficient in the use of computer, i.e. MS Office, CMMS, etc. Hotel Accommodation: The company will accommodate the candidate in 5 stars hotel for the first 14 days after arriving to Saudi Arabia. Also, Candidate will be receiving amount of SR 250 per day (cash) as food allowance during that period. Housing Allowance: 25% of basic salary paid in monthly basis with a minimum of SR 1666 per month. Transportation Allowance: 10% of basic salary paid in monthly basis with a minimum of SR 1000 Maximum of SR 1500. Working Time hours: 5 days / week (40 hours); the normal workdays are Saturday through Wednesday from 07:30 am to 04:30 pm, with Thursday and Friday as rest days. Settling-In Allowance: The employee is entitled to assist in the purchase of miscellaneous items necessary to establish residence in Saudi Arabia as the following: • Single Status: 40% of 1 month base salary • Family Status: 30% of 1 month base salary + 30% after family’s arrival (in the first year of service) Shift Allowance: If the candidate was assigned to work in shift basis, he will be entitling to 8 - 12 % of the basic salary upon company’s shifts policy. Education Assistance Plan (Married Status Contract): • If children are physically resident in Saudi Arabia: Company Pays the Actual school fees for three children between the ages five ( 5 ) and eighteen ( 18 ) at employee for an accredited school for each child in the kingdom. • If both parents are resident in Saudi Arabia and children are not physically resident in Saudi Arabia (Studying abroad): Full registration & Tuition fees cost for each eligible child between the ages five ( 5 ) and eighteen ( 18 ) up to 20% of the employee’s annual basic salary, not exceeding 40% in case of 2 or more children (Max. is three children) Medical: Free medical coverage for the employee and his/her eligible family members upon medical insurance company policy, who are staying in kingdom, in hospitals and clinics designated by it. Vacation (Annual Leave): Twenty two (22) workdays for grade 9 and below and Twenty eight (28) for grade 10 and above per year plus twelve (12) workdays of official holidays per year. Air Tickets: One round trip ticket for the employee & his/her eligible family members per year (IATA rate “economy”). 13th Month Allowance: One month basic salary paid once a year during the holy month of Ramadan. Severance Award: Upon Separation, the company will pay a severance award according to the following: First 5 years ½ salary for each year 6 to 10 years 1 salary for each year Beyond 10 years 1½ salary for each year Service Award: A symbolic gift will be given in 5 year increments. Savings Plan: Employee can contribute from 1% to 10% of his/her basic salary and the company will reward the employee at the rate of 10% of his/her contribution for each year of service, up to 100% at the completion of his/her 10th year of continuous service (paid at the time of Separation). Permanent & Total Disability Benefits: In cases of industrial or non-industrial injuries Satorp will pay a monthly supplemental annuity of 65% of final base pay for employees who have at least 6 months of continuous service.
