Prodigy Emodi After rigorous scrutiny of the essays sent in by the contestants,a major bugaboo is the lack of Compression of the topic by the contestants. Most essays were bereft of flavour and ideas,some were headed no where and a contestant didnt even have the balls to send his essay in. #Welcome Five basic necessities have been posed as obstacles that each essay should be spiced with,in no particular order;they are: *Diction/Punctuation *Topic Comprehension *Style/Arrangement *Readability *Consistency Each quality is worth 10Marks. The first participant to go under the knife is #Olagoke_T_Adewunmi Miss Olagoke started with a lead that made it seem like she comprehended the topic,but After the lead I think she lost steam. Readability and arrangement did her a lot of good...so here are your scores Miss Olagoke *Diction/ Punctuation(4) *Topic Comprehension(2) *Style/ Arrangement(5) *Readability(6) *Consistency(6) Total=23 Next up is #Desmond...Oops,he had nothing to send in. Moving swiftly on to #Taiwo_Fakokunde I dont know what went wrong for our friend Taiwo,but he lacked all qualities needed,he almost brought tears to my eyes. Here is how he fared *Diction/ Punctuation(1) *Topic Comprehension(1) *Style/ Arrangement(1) *Readability(1) *Consistency(Nil) Total=4 Onto the piece of Mbah Ephraim Chinonso This is our very first contestant that used an actual Lead,even if he may not know,he used the punch lead,and his diction and punctuation werent as bad. Consistency and Readability were his strongest marks. Desmond Olayinka bailed out and Bella Udo had issues with her network...shes not been online since then. I must say...Bella Udo was. On the right track...only if her write-up were originally hers. Its a pity her network gave out on her. Congratulations Olagoke Adewunmi and Mbah Chinonso! The essays were supposed to trend on a site, depending on how good they were, but we didnt submit on time and we also didnt meet the standard, but our winners will be our cover picture for a month, and they will be addressed as King and Queen, respectively.
