Product Support to Buying Team (Mandarin Speaker ideal) Alexander Hancock Recruitment - Trafford Our client who is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of clothing to high street retailers is looking to recruit a product liaison assistant to support the buying and manufacturing part of the company. Your role would be to: Build great relationships with Xiamen team colleagues & support UK team members to communicate range developments & revisions to Xiamen team colleagues. With Product Manager ensure range plan documents are always visible to the Xiamen team, at all key milestones assist with communicating range / product changes to Xiamen team. Critical Path Management Co-ordinate all marker samples, for in season & storage of previous season, when required send to Asia. With Product Manager oversee the handover of materials & component brief to Xiamen team. With Design Team & Product Manager ensure clear handover of seasonal color palettes. Oversee the handover of designer cad to Xiamen team, ensure cad work is to standard & interpreted correctly by Asia team to build accurate specs to produce great samples to schedule & to brief. With support from UK PM & Design team log change & ensure clear transfer of required spec amendments to Xiamen development team. Ensure the smooth transfer of branding, packaging & swing-ticket requirements to Asia teams for spec building by Xiamen team. In conjunction with Product Manager, designer & Asia teams review sample ranges & assist in the compiling of any necessary amends, ensuring at key milestones that sales & marketing are clear on SMS amends. Provide support to UK teams to brief Asia on fit & technical requirements, help to maintain block manual. From Marketing & Product Manager advice liaise with Asia teams to ensure photography sampling requirements are understood. Work in collaboration with UK planning & imports teams to relay SMS figures to Asia, assist with maintaining of AS400 & track with imports the UK arrival dates. When required provide Admin support to Asia & UK teams to track Reach compliance. Ensure Asia Bulk QC teams are kept informed on inbound QC results
