Production Superintendent: Details: Johns Manville is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Production Superintendent of the Tucson Alloy Shop located in Tucson, AZ. The purpose of this position is leading a team of a skilled workforce, including leads, in the Tucson Alloy Shop to create and sustain high performing customer-centric products. This individual will lead the team to achieve critical to quality targets for safety, service, quality, cost, and continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead shop effort in continuous improvement, improving productivity, and stabilization. Develop and manage talent within the alloy shop. Develop and sustain communications within the shop, but also with the key stakeholders throughout the division. Responsible for goal setting and performance management. Maintain high safety standards that meet OSHA VPP/JM safety requirements. Maintain JM environmental standards, including ISO 14001 standards. Oversee quality program to meet JM and customer quality standards including quality training, quality audits and supervising quality processes in each stage of the manufacturing and product process. Drive efforts in developing and maintaining world class bushing production. Assist in preparation of budgets and standards for cost measurement and manage the shop within the budget. Manage the plant security programs to assure controls are in place and being followed. Drive the shop SIOP process and coordinate with internal plants and corporate SIOP to prepare for changes in demand. Identify and implement cost reduction programs.
