Young aung aung myint joined UTC (University Training Corps ) & underwent very serious spartan military training courses (4 years) against his fathers will. His father was a man who was disgusted with hopelessly corrupt Burmese politicians in general & Burmese military in particular. Young aung aung myint wanted to become Supreme Commander of UTC forces like Col. Pe Thein (Rector of Mandalay Medical Institute). Actually Burmese UTC has only two regiments.Young aung aung myint did not know that International Protocol does not recognize Supreme Commander which has only two regiments !. Poor young aung aung myint ! Col. Pe Thein (Rector of Mandalay Medical Institute) was rumored to wear Green Uniforms even in bed( yet to be confirmed by reliable sources). Young aung aung myint did the same. U Toe Toe (aams father )was so disgusted that young aam was disinherited. Young aam did not care his father . Young aam is a man of conscience. HE did not relinquish SACRED uniform until he graduated from the Mandalay University. He was brought up by his mother & grand-aunty. However in 1988 revolution , young aam was disillusioned with hopelessly corrupt military backed BSPP regime. Young english tutor aam joined the democratic 8888 REVOLUTION under cover of face masks သူခိုးမ်က္ႏွာဖံုး. Only then young tutor was reconciled with his father. May God bless son & father. Prof.s U Aung Aung Myint father U Toe Toe passed away 5 years ago.
