"Professions of Faith" by Wade Urban The following are professions of faith that have helped me to walk in faith. Perhaps they may help you as well. 1. Jesus is my Lord. I am forgiven of sin and made alive to righteousness (Col.1:20-21). 2. Jesus bought me abundant life. I receive His life through the Word which gives me prosperity and health (Jn.10:10; Jn.6:63). 3. I am free from un-forgiveness. I forgive others as Christ has forgiven me. I am redeemed from the Law’s curse. Resurrection power flows to every cell of my body bringing life and health (Gal.3:13; Mk.11:23; Phil.3:11-12). 4. I am more than a conqueror through Christ. I am an over-comer of the flesh, world and Satan by the Lamb’s blood and word of my testimony (Rom.8:37; 1Jn.4:4; Rev.12:11). 5. I present my body a living sacrifice to God and am crucified to selfish motives and desires. I have Christ’s mind and walk in wisdom, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom.12:1; Gal.2:20; 1Cor.2:16; Rom.14:17). 6. No weapon can prosper against me. My body is the Holy Spirit’s temple. God’s Word has imparted divine life to me, and His life restores my body, soul, and spirit with every breath I breathe and every word I speak (Isa.54:17; 1Cor.6: 19; Jn 6:63; Ps.23:3; Mk.11:23). 7. I attend to God’s Word. I incline my ears to Your sayings and do not let them depart from my eyes. I keep them in my heart, for they are life and healing to my flesh. Your Word’s power is working in me doing exceedingly abundantly above all I ask or think. It has caused organs and cells to function as God created. My body and mind are transformed by Your Word, so I demand my body function properly in Jesus’ name (Pv.4:20-22; Eph.3:28; Rom.12:2; 1Pet.2:24). 8. Jesus bore my sickness and pain. I give no place to sickness or pain in my body for God sent His Word and healed me. Father, Your Word has become flesh, part of me, and become manifest in my body; therefore, disease, sickness, growth, tumor, virus, and bacteria must dissolve and disappear from my body leaving no ill effects or residual weaknesses or faults (Jn.1:21; 1Jn.4:14; Mk.11:23; Ps.107:20). 9. I am led by Holy Spirit and an heir and joint-heir with Jesus Christ. My inheritance is in Christ and in Him all God’s promises are mine through faith. Nothing is impossible because of my faith in Christ. I can do all things because Christ strengthens me (Rom. 8:16, 17; 2Cor.1:20; Mk.9:23; Phil.4:13). 10. I have given cheerfully and abundantly; so I am given good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over shall men put in my bosom. Jesus, for my sake became poor that I through His poverty might be rich. I have been redeemed from poverty’s curse and am a partaker of all things pertaining to life and godliness. God has given me power to get wealth so His covenant be established (Lk.6:38; 2Cor.8:9; Gal.3:13; 2Pet.1:2-4; Deut.8:18). 11. Lord Jesus, You are the vine; I, a branch. I abide in You and Your anointing flows through me to bring forth much fruit (Jn.15:5-7). 12. I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Satan is under my feet, and nothing shall by any means harm me, for I have all spiritual blessings in Christ (Eph.2:6; Lk.10:29; Eph.1:3). 13. I am a faith person believing and speaking God’s Word into situations devoid of His will. I speak to mountains (problems) to remove themselves, not doubting but believing I shall have whatever I have spoken. I please My Father because I believe Him and His Word and know that He rewards those who diligently seek Him (2Cor.4:13; Mk.11:23; Heb.11:6). 14. I am a new creation in Christ. My mind is renewed by the Word, and I am continually filled with the Spirit. I am no longer a mere man with a carnal nature, for I have put off the old man and put on Jesus’ nature (2Cor.5:17; 1Cor.3:3; Eph.4:22-24). 15. I face life’s trials by counting it joy, knowing faith grows as I conquer life’s obstacles. I am changing from glory to glory in the knowledge of Christ as I die to self and live in Christ. I am a doer, not just a hearer of the Word. I guard my heart with all diligence, for out of my mouth comes my heart’s proceeds. My words produce life, blessings, and are containers of faith. I am a mighty man/woman of valor in God’s kingdom and walk in victory through my faith in Jesus Christ ( Jas.1:2; 2Cor.3:18; Jas.1:22-23; Matt.12:34; Pv.18:20-21; Judg.6:12).
