Professor Allan Young, Director of the Centre for Affective Disorders, Department of Psychological Medicine, Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College, London spoke at the final Public Lecture Series for 2014 at the Rural Health Academic Centre, University of Melbourne, Shepparton about bipolar disorder. Bipolar disorder (BD) is a common, chronic, severe, complex and costly group of recurrent psychiatric illness that can be devastating for the affected individual and their families.
