Proff Moses Machar the former vVice President of the Republic of South Sudan said today at Symposium organized by IGAD in Adis that South Sudanese should not rush to implement federal system of government because they are only three years old and are not well united. So they need to have strong central government to unite them for some years (I dont know how many of years) before we can apply federal system of governance. OMG! I could not believe my ears that such a renowned personality can reason in that line! Have not we had enough of this highly centralized sytem of governance under Kiir for the last 9 years? What did we gain from it? Did it unite us? Did any county, Payam or Boma receive any direct allocation of funds from the oil revenue for its development program for the last 9 years? Did we have any one single highway to talk about and pride ourselves? Did the Proff see any development in his own Boma because of the current system he is advocating for? The problem of South Sudanese are its own educated elites NOT the people at the rural areas (Unquote one of the speakers today). I now can confirm this without doubt! God save South Sudan!
