Progress Report Day 19: Christmas times a coming! Wednesday, Dec. 24th. will be our last day to give toys & clothes to families in our area. We will be open until 3PM. So far 503 have made it in...somewhere between 1200 to 1500 children helped. All because many of you fell in line and brought your toys, clothes and gift cards. Yesterday two school teachers from Plano came together in 2 SUVS full for the children. They had announced in class what we were doing and their students brought in their part. Another sweet lady brought in 10 Racetrack gift cards for $10 each. Many brought in their children to hand sacks to Santas brother. Smiles and icecream for everyone. This is my 64th. Christmas hear on earth..... one I will never forget. I have been blessed to have it both ways. The true kindness that radiates from those bringing the gifts in, and the heart felt thanks from those picking them up. You still have time to be a part of this if you feel led to. If you know of a family in need, go get them and bring them to us. You will be rewarded watching them gather for their children. If you arent able to do that, call them and tell them all about us. We have toys and clothes waiting for them. If they are low on gas, tell them we can help there too if coming from a long way.
