Progressives and Jihadis Seek to Silence UTT’s Influence In Letter to White House In a letter dated August 14, 2014 addressed to the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism Lisa Monaco, 75 progressive and jihadi organizations called for “immediate action to end the use anti-Muslim training materials inside the federal government, and singled out UTT’s founder John Guandolo, noting he continues to train law enforcement officers across the country. The signatories not only include Muslim Brotherhood (MB) organizations such as the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), the Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA), the Islamic Leadership Council of Metropolitan NY, Muslim Advocates, and others, but Hamas, doing business as CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) as well as the Council on Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago (CIOGC).
