Project 52 week 52! Well here I am at the final song of Project 52. This journey has come to an end. I did it! Without missing a single Tuesday night release. ALL year long. Every week for a solid year I put out a live, uncut, unedited, non Auto-tuned, raw guitar and vocal, performance of an original song. Even while putting our house up for sale, packing our house, selling our house, moving 1,000 miles away, through studio equipment failures and a even few crappy illnesses, I accomplished my goal. I have to say It feels pretty good inside. One thing I can definitely say is that I am glad that throughout the year I recorded a few songs ahead of time (wiping brow). So when I did need a lifeline I was able to keep putting songs out on time. It wasnt always peachy though. There were many weeks when I didnt have anything ready and I was sweating bullets wondering what I was going to do 1-2 days before some release nights. However, with the gifts God gave me I was able to get it done. Thank you all so much for all the support, shares, likes, comments and for simply watching. You guys made it a blast and kept me going. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I still cant believe how fast 2014 went by doing this. Throughout the project there were some great songs, some not so great songs and some songs that really meant a lot to me. Im going to look back over the years worth of songs and produce some of the really good ones. Maybe even do a CD called Project 52, The Studio Album. Who knows. With me and music, Im always looking ahead. I never know what Ill be doing next. One thing for sure is even though P52 is over it doesnt mean you wont hear anything more from me in 2015. You might not hear something new from me every week but youll definitely be hearing a lot of new music! I am already chomping at the bit to get to work on new music and musical adventures in the coming year! Ok, here we go with week 52s song...this last song was not my final choice. In fact I wasnt going to put this one in the P52 mix but I ended up needing it as my final lifeline. I have been sick this final week of 2014 and I was not able to record the song I wanted to do.
