Project LOL: Door to Door! So I decided that it was time to take Project LOL door to door. Or at least go out with the intent to open myself up to people to talk about love, life or anything really. While offering a trade of energies, my art for donations, to keep me going on my travels and mission of growth and happiness through Life. My time here in Fredericton has been fantastic. Ive started gathering funds for the trip south and reaching out about the Project. With the help of my friends Jake, Enehs and Happy, Im loaded with tons of prints of my artwork, signed with a personal message on the back of each. To put a little bit of myself in them. Ive taken the mission on bike as I talk to people and let them know what Im about and that Im on travels south headed towards sailing. Ive told them about how my art is available by donation to support my travels. But really, because I exchange them in that way, people have been so generous that I am able to give a bunch away too! Its not just about the money. Yes the money helps enable me on my journey. But I also really appreciate when someone likes my art enough to want one and Im able to share it freely with others. Its great because the love, attention and energy is a large part of what makes this all possible and I feel is a perfect demonstration of how a little love goes a long way in making someones dreams come true. Fredericton, you are wonderful. My adventures in Fredericton have brought me into contact with so many cool people since Ive been here. Today, I met a man called Len, with eyes that shone with enthusiasm. I ran into him while he was busy painting a house. We talked and connected about his past and how it lead him into his current life. Which seemed great. I loved his character. He had so much vitality. I also met this young woman named Megan and found out she was full on in love and has been with her partner for 3 years. Hes encouraged her to go to school and pursue her dreams. She was beautiful and gave me a very generous donation to help me on my way. It brought tears to my eyes to see so much Love can be passed from a stranger. When we hugged, it was real and felt really good like it was coming from a long time friend. Secretly, I think most people just want others to feel good and whole. I was invited into a home built in 1910 just down the street from where Happy lives. It was a gorgeous old brick home with old wooden finishing and filled with flowers and cool decorations. The house seemed magical to me and reminded me of where elves or white witches might live. The woman and her husband were ridiculously inviting and gave me carrot cake and tea. We talked about life, growth, love, society, her religion and of course....cats, lol. I was out for hours today and met so many characters. John, gave me a copy of a book that he said reminded him of me. Its called The Monk who Sold his Ferrari and its about the journey of a man searching for peace. He said it was a great read and that he read it so much he has highlighted and underlined everything that meant something to him, pretty much half the book. Im pretty stoked to read this book. He had so much keenness for it. Im eager to see something he placed so much of himself into. All in all, outreach has been going great. I love talking and connection with people. I see each person as an opportunity to align myself in love and practice truly being open and available to them. To go with the flow and see where the conversation goes. To be open to what they might be teaching me about love and life. Sometimes when it comes down to saying all this stuff in person, I get a little lost for words and direction. But I know with time and trust it will come easier to me. Another cool thing about my trip in Freddy so far has been my break through with busking. In the last couple of months Ive been trying to push through my fear of preforming music in front of others and really allowing myself to be free in my expression. Happy really encouraged me the other day when I sang a song for her, which lead me to have the right amount of confidence to go out there and give it another full hearted try and it went great. I was pretty nervous but just let loose. By the end of the night I had felt some real connections from people to the music and witnessed reactions that made me feel good. It was worth pushing myself against the nervousness and all my efforts had finally come to a visible result. There was a young man that introduced himself as a music producer and encouraged me to record. This is not really where my mind is at right now. I am happy to share it on the streets, plus Im in go mode. But the suggestion and his words really inspirited me and I feel excited for future possibilities. Thank you Uni for all that, it was pretty awesome! At some point in between the playing I went off for a wander and ended up finding a bicycle leaned against a street light with two flat tires. I looked up and down into the night time streets and saw no one around. The way the bike was positioned it felt abandoned there. Like it might have been left by some earlier thief. I saw it as a sign from Uni. Free bike!! I went to the store and eagerly filled the tires, anxious to see if they would instantly deflate. Nope, they stayed full and I have been cruising on an old beater since. You bet your ass shes getting me all the places I want to go. Which happen to be me trolling around the neighborhood, knocking on peoples doors to talk about Love and you know, other things like buying paper, groceries and just trail riding along the river. Thank you Uni for everything you give me. Thank you for all the people who give me donations to help me on my path. Thank you for my super awesome amazing friends and family who are there to share in Lifes glory and flare! Help me be open and go with the flow. Help me share light and love into the world. I love you. Your faithful, Billy Blue
