Project Little Dream Healthcare Division is recruiting Khmer volunteers this year! Please spread the word, and, of course, apply if you are interested! Please note that this is for Khmer volunteers only. The recruitment of Hong Kong volunteers has been closed. Project description: This year’s project aims to improve health of the residents in Thnouh Village by raising awareness, and facilitating access to healthcare services and sanitation facilities. The main components include - Organizing a village-wide health promotion event Facilitating the installation of lavatories by observational studies and needs assessment Setting up health profile for villagers Potentially collaborating with local NGOs to provide health checks Volunteers will be actively involved in the preparation, execution, and evaluation of the project. There will be plenty of opportunities to interact with the villagers and gain an understanding of their lifestyle, as well as working closely with Hong Kong volunteers. We are looking for volunteers who are: Interested in improving health in rural Cambodia; Hard-working, problem-solving team players; Comfortable with communicating in English. 2 to 3 meetings will be called prior to the trip.
