This position will include but not be limited to: Create detailed project plans, with tasks, dependencies, and timelines identified, and keep project plans continuously updated Report relevant status to managers and key stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner Establish and maintain schedules, drive activities, identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and work with internal teams and external partners. You need to be able to: • Demonstrate expertise in various functions within the Cable/Telecommunications industry • Demonstrate understanding of data services/solutions • Demonstrate understanding of voice services (PRI, porting, etc.) • Demonstrate understanding of billing support systems (BSS) • Demonstrate understanding of trouble ticketing and operational support systems (OSS) • Process development and improvement experience • Requirements definition experience • Demonstrate ability to lead and direct in a program management capacity • Demonstrate ability to work independently with limited direction • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Have existing knowledge of order and/or task management systems We also are looking for the following abilities: Leadership • Relationship Management • Collaboration • Flexibility/Adaptability • Delegation Project Management • Critical path and risk assessment, management and mitigation • Deployment management • Project change control and knowledge of project management methodologies Communication/Organization Skills • Efficient computer skills, including tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project; MS Visio a plus • Oral and written (including presentations) communication skills • Meeting facilitation skills Business Management • Decision Making • Negotiation Skills • Problem Solving/Analytical Skills We must require these items for success: • 5-7+ years professional experience in project or program management • Minimum of five years experience with cable, telecommunications or related industry • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in problem solving and business process development and implementation About Project Resources Group Inc. better known as PRG!
