Proof that positive thoughts and prayers work. We had the Kamloops vet come out yesterday to check out Big D. Karas daddy. So about two months ago he got his teeth done from another vet clinic. He wasnt picking up, had Lyz work on him as his TMJ was out etc. Still he wasnt picking up he has been de wromed in the summer? Tired him on mash and he lost more weight? So called the vet who did his teeth they came out and re checked him. Took some blood to see whats going on. Bad news looks like liver and kidney failure!!!! I cried as we just lost Karas mom.... I prayed was sending D healing light. Ben was my rock so I called my fav vet Jason from Kamloops-Large Animal-Vet . He came out and took more blood, pee and a poop sample and D had a ultra sound done. All day waiting for the vet I felt like I couldnt breath because I couldnt deal with another death. Jason was amazing and showed us there was nothing wrong with his liver or kidneys! His teeth where not the best as he is older. So it looks like we do not have to put down our boy. We are just waiting for the test to came back to see what to do from here. Jason was thinking that maybe his body has a resistance to de wromers? We have him on a new diet. Positive thoughts and prayers I believe helped Big D out. And a huge thank you to Jason thank you for being a amazing vet and caring so much for all our babies! I had tears of joy as we went out at 8pm to feed D in his stall in the pouring rain. He was bright eyed and brushy tailed and hungry. What a great early Christmas present!
