This is the very last chance I have to make sure the book is ready to go to the printer before its bound behind the BEAUTIFUL cover. Evan Downeys journey is one I have wanted to write for a long, long time (ever since I introduced him in Hard to Handle). I knew he was a widower. I knew he was brother to both Aiden and Landon Downey. I knew he was the grumpier of the three. I did not know how heart-breaking it would be to write his story, or how uplifting it would be to watch him coax the heroine, Charlie out of her shell.
