Prophecy Come True The Lord said in, Matthew 1:22 All this took - TopicsExpress

Prophecy Come True The Lord said in, Matthew 1:22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: Many people are caught up in the study of Biblical and non-biblical prophecy. People study prophecy to determine what will happen in the future. Perhaps underneath our common desire to know the future is our knowing we have a limited future before us. Everyone knows on some level there is before us a threatening experience called death. What we must all realize is the power of prophecy already came true when Christ was born. This prophecy that has already come true far outweighs and overshadows our mental activity or our study of prophecy about what will happen tomorrow or in some other time of the future. What has already come true is earth-shaking and astounding. What has already come true is God has sent His only Son into the world by having a virgin give birth to a divine Son…a literal Son of God…a Son who had no earthly father. What has already happened is when this Son of God grew up, human beings killed Him, but after three days in a tomb, He came back to life. What has already happened is when this Son of God walked the earth He gave a testimony about God in Heaven and He did miracles no one has ever been able to do since. What has already happened is the birth of the Son of God has set off a spiritual, religious, personal, and commercial revolution in the lives of nations and in the lives of people. What has already happened is the birth of the Son of God has set off a massive and joyful celebration in the month of December. What has already happened is this celebration called Christmas is observed by people who really do try to love and care for others, even when loving and caring for others is not what they would ever do any other time of year.
