Prophetic Basketball Game I did not watch game game 1 of the - TopicsExpress

Prophetic Basketball Game I did not watch game game 1 of the NBA finals, but I have heard a lot about it in the past 18 hours. It seems the AC went out in the ATT Center in San Antonio last night and things got quite hot in the arena. So hot in fact that the all world basketball player LeBron James cramped up from the conditions and could not even finish the game, needing to be carried off the court. Game over San Antonio wins. You dont need to know much about basketball or even care about it to listen to my next point. Scripture says he who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the church. Miami could not live up to their name... The Heat. Miami Heat as is ends up is just a name on a jersey, and not really descriptive or characteristic of the the team. As the church, we call ourselves Christian but is that really what we are about. Its possible that very thing Miami was known for they really were NOT PREPARED FOR. If anyone should be able to take the heat shouldnt it be the Heat? As followers of Christ we carry a powerful name in the name of Jesus. Has it become a label, a marketing tool, or simply a name on a shirt or is it indeed descriptive of The Church and every individual in it. It would have been no big deal if Miami Ice, or Miami Lukewarm had cramped up and lost game one, but that was MIAMI HEAT. We are known by a name that is above all names, we are not Bobians, stacyians, Tomians, or Julieians... We are Christians. I have no doubt Miami will learn lessons from the loss in the heat be a different team in the future. We will learn as well, and become a much better team for it. We will, Live out the name in all authority and power...not just wear the label.
