Proponents of ACell for hair restoration claim that this product works by facilitating tissue regeneration. This property can supposedly help revitalize dormant follicles. ACell is made from pig bladder tissue which is processed to isolate the extracellular matrix which can facilitate the growth of new cells. This has benefitted wound healing and reconstructive surgeries in other medical areas.
