Protein is found in every cell in our body and used throughout any type of exercise or physical activity. To build and repair broken down muscles, consuming small protein packed meals throughout the day is a must. When your body isn’t given the amount of protein it needs, the essential amino acids in the body fall short hindering recovery, energy levels and metabolism. The quest for suitable protein sources may be much easier than one may think. Aim for 5-6 small meals a day to really boost fat burning and metabolism. Pair lean proteins with complex carbs and add in healthy fats. Results WILL come... but nutrition is key! Get in those mini meals!
