Proud husband status coming... Today my wife received word that she is a finalist for the D Magazine Excellence in Nursing Award. She is probably going to kill me for posting this but she has had a pretty good year in her job. She was a finalist earlier this year for the nursing excellence award at childrens hospital. She was also the recipient of the Daisy award this year. The daisy award recipients can only be nominated by a patients family. Anyone that knows Kendel Richards knows how much she genuinely cares about people. It is quite amazing to me how she is able to constantly put others feelings and needs before her own in both her personal and professional life. I am glad people in her profession have taken some notice to her efforts in the hospital. I apologize for the long winded status I just wanted to share what I know she wouldnt.
