Proud of my wife. Very deserving! Theresa Kirchmer has earned the distinction of being named Valle Catholic Grade School’s teacher of the year for the 2013-14 school year. Dr. Mark Gilligan, the principal of Valle Catholic Schools, announced the news last Thursday. Kirchmer teaches fifth grade at Valle. “Throughout her career at Valle Catholic Schools, Mrs. Kirchmer has come to symbolize what makes the faculty at Valle Catholic so special in the minds of the students and parents alike,” a release from Valle stated. “A constant willingness to give of herself to the students in her class, her fellow faculty members and the overall Valle community is the trademark that makes Theresa Kirchmer so special. The optimism in her approach to education is contagious, and Valle Catholic Schools is a better place because of Theresa Kirchmer.”
