Proud to announce that I have been appointed to the position of “Facilitator for the State of Florida” by Patriot Guard State Captain John Vincent. As Facilitator, I will be directly responsible for rebuilding the membership in Florida. I wish to publically thank John for his faith in my abilities to be the “go to” person for members in need of help in signing up or logging into the National PGR website. Late last year the PGR National website crashed and was subsequently rebuilt. Before the crash, there were almost 300,000 members signed up, with Florida having between 3,000 – 4,000 members. Since the crash, only a little over 1,200 members have been able to get back onto the website in Florida. The National PGR Team has been beleaguered with requests from members not being able to log on to the newly revamped website. Other States report the same losses. You’ve all heard the reasons: ‘my password won’t work, I’ve tried three times’ and others. So PGR National devised a plan, in which all 50 States would try to assist with this problem. Each State was asked to appoint a “Facilitator”. For any PGR members in the State of Florida having such issues, contact me via my email address and provide me with your email address and telephone number. Hopefully, with all 50 states adopting this ‘fix’, we should be able to get the registered member- ship back to near pre-crash levels. This effort will only succeed with everyone on board, trying to identify those who have not yet re-registered. ..
