Proverbs 21:8,10: 8.The way of the guilty is exceedingly crooked, but as for the pure, his work is right and his conduct is straight. 10. The soul or life of a wicked craves and seeks evil: his neighbor finds no favor in his eyes. (AMP) During today’s Scripture reading in Proverbs I learned how to identify a pure person and guilty or wicked person. A pure person has good conduct. This individual wants to do this right thing. They do good works. Notice I used the word person instead of man. I did this because this verse can also be applied to a woman. Sometimes you can tell if a person is guilty by their behavior. When an individual lives a crooked lifestyle he/she has crooked ways. This person craves and seeks evil. They brainstorm new ways to commit sin. The person gets alone with no one. This person causes trouble wherever they go, making the people around them want to leave and go anywhere to get away from them. This person causes turmoil at family gatherings because he/she must have everyone ‘s attention on them. I feel sorry for anyone who encounters this person. Do you know someone like this? Do you have 1 or 2 friends or family members like this? Since I ask the question I will be the first to answer them. My answer to both questions is YES.
