Ps 121 :6 - The sun shall not strike you by day ; Nor the moon by night ! I was meditating why the writer of this Psalm used this two examples of the sun and the moon. God created them and put them in place for our benefit : Without the sun there will be no growth of "ANY LIVING THING" There will be no LIFE on earth.The weather will always be cold etc etc ... The moon is our natural satelite and many other reasons: This applies as well to all the things God placed in our lives .Things the Lord has bless us with; either wife , children, husband, career, car, house , money ,what ever it is.He knows one needs them as long as one is on this earth, one can´t do without them they are very neccessary. The blessings of the Lord makes one rich n adds no sorrow to it ( Pro 10:22); not only the richness of having much money, but being settled n fulfilled in life .The children He has given will not one day become drug addicts or bank rubbers, or the house one has built will not one day collaps losing everything, and many other sad examples. The world has prophesied many things about the sun; like it has a limited time, it will melt and the earth will be consumed ,everything on the earth will melt, according to them. The same applies sometimes to things God blesses us with . How many times has God bless one and one hears things like" This Job is given only to so so people, u will not last in this position, or no body coming from this family ever amount to something, or no one has ever built a mansion in this area or men/women of this erea never married outsiders name them !!! As the Lord made the Sun and the moon and put them in place for the benefit of the whole world and He knows the World can´t survive without them , and His word also says that they won´t strike U n I, therefore anything the Lord has bless Us with name them , He knows they are VERY VITAL and one can´t live without them. Believe in the report of God n not Men. Appreciate the Lord for all ur blessings and live to enjoy what God has bless you with ! Be bless !
