Main Meal Well, the coliseum we played in was officially in Ontario, but that’s a suburb of LA. And for those of you who study, research, and know, LA is one of the world’s largest centers of (Biblical) evil. It is a very popular, attractive evil that sucks innocent souls in quite easily! Anyway, we knew it would be a step of faith to go back into that area, but Eddie and Roy sensed it was a God thing to do. Offering SPIRITUAL LIGHT where there is such immense evil darkness is always a God idea, but…it could prove to be a bad idea if the logistics and finances work too bad against you. Eddie and Roy’s decision to go for it in LA again, coupled with plenty of prayer support, proved to be a GOD IDEA in the end. For the first time on a west coast tour (this is our 3rd year, we have been doing east coast Winter Jams for 18-20 years), there were groups “camping out” (tents, umbrellas, longue chairs) when we rolled in about sun up! SEE PICTURE I SENT MIKE TO PLACE IN THIS MEAL! lawestcoastwj_web.jpg And the good problem we face on most east coast Winter Jam’s (turning people away because it is sold out) occurred early last night. In fact, I think the Fire Marshall freaked and shut us down too early. Oh well. Many souls made eternal decisions for Christ too. And that’s what it’s all about! And we had over 100 Holt sponsors for orphans as well! A very GOD night! (Oh, thanks for your prayers!!!! My little devotion book, “40 DAYS IN THE JESUS CAFE…It’s About Time” also did pretty well. Thank You Lord! God books don’t do anyone any good sitting in card board boxes (except Satan)! Jesus Cafe, for the last 8-10 years of my going out tour pastoring with Newsong, I have seen how God has taken one of His most powerful gifts, MUSIC, and coupled it with His Gospel Message to welcome hundreds of thousands new souls into His family! THE POWERFUL LIGHT OF GOD’S ETERNAL TRUTH PUT TO NEW MUSIC is awesome! Well, it should be. God said so! Ps 40:3- He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord. KEEP PRAYING FOLKS! Tonight we took this traveling God’s Medicine Show to another one of the world’s centers of EVIL…LAS VEGAS! Hey, great generals know to win you have to hit the enemy in his own back yard and very hard in his mouth! That’s what we are trying to do. Please keep on praying.
