That He loves you and knows you intimately? It is easy to reduce a quiet time to little more than a quick glance at a passage of Scripture and a short prayer if you forget the real purpose of setting aside that time. God wants you to have a real and fresh encounter with Him each day. It doesnt have to be some complicated ritual or particular method; you simply come before Him with a humble, repentant heart and a genuine desire to know Him more. Let Him speak to you and reveal Himself to you - when your meeting ends, you will walk away changed!
