Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds How many of us walk around pretending all is well? We smile and say, Good morning! in cheery voices. We go to the gym and it looks as if we have our stuff together. We multi-task in an effort to convince ourselves that we do have some measure of control; some measure of togetherness. Can I tell you something? God knows your heart and He knows what brokenness is there that has been caused by the enemy. Its ok, dear one. Can I release you to admit that we ALL have stuff to deal with? Can I release you from the guilt, shame, and accusation of the enemy that causes brokenness? I say this as a fellow sister in the family of God, we have all of eternity to grow up and mature in Him. Let God deal with your issues one at a time. You know, a as parents we would tell our children to not scarf down the food, but to take one bite at a time and really chew it before you swallow. Well, God knows your stuff. He knows your brokenness and He is not wanting you to finish the 7 course meal, to run the marathon- Hes wanting to deal with each issue one at a time so that you can mature and grow up in that area. Can you let Him do that? Can you let Him heal your heart one piece at a time? You are an eternal spiritual being, beloved. Hes not expecting you to graduate to perfection in this lifetime. It wont happen. We have all of eternity and a very patient, loving and merciful Father. Let His love heal you and make you whole beginning today.
