Psalm 33:4 – For the word of the LORD is right and true; He is faithful in all He does. Scripture tells us that God is faithful? God love us unconditional. He loves us when we are good, bad or even ugly in our behavior. He love us saints!!! Are you faithful in spite of the pain? Are you? Has the pain, struggles and sufferings of life cause you to become unfaithful in your relationship with God? Have they caused you to doubt God’s faithfulness? In what circumstance or situation in your life has your faith begin to die? Perhaps you have awaken this morning to a river or ocean full of pain, anguish and despair. Along with all those painful thoughts and feelings, you are probably experiencing thoughts of doubt about God’s love, concern, goodness, faithfulness and promises to you also. Indeed we are living in perilous times. A time where everyone is going through something. Everyone has struggles, suffering, hardship to some degree, trouble and pain to some degree. I am sure we all can look at life and say “if it ain’t one thing, it is another.” Amen? In spite of where you may find yourself this morning, are you willing to remain faithful, committed and dedicated to your relationship with God, in spite of? I can only hope and pray that your answer is “Yes” to this question? Who else can we turn too? The bible declares that God is our shelter in the time of storm, He is our strong tower, our rock in a weary land and our peace in the midst of life’s storms. Are you willing to boldly proclaim this morning that you are going to continue to hold to God’s unchanging hands, regardless of how hard the wind blows, how heavy the rain pours or how hard the thunder may roll? Are you willing to make this confession on this morning? Do you have the courage to stand firm in your faith on this morning in the face of opposition, denial, rejection and persecution? Are you willing in a fallen world? Suffering is a tool or means of transportation that God uses to get our attention and to accomplish His purposes and His will in our lives. Suffering forces us to die to self and resurrect in Christ Jesus. Regardless of the reason for your present suffering, are you willing to remain faithful to God in spite of? Romans 10:11 – For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” Regardless of the cause of your pain on this morning, you must remain faithful. WHY? Because the bible declares in James 1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all he does, for his loyalty is divided between God and the world. Matthew 6:24 -24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. If you said you were faithful to God yesterday and today, due to a situation or circumstance that has arise in your life you have decided that you are not going to be faithful to God on today, you are double minded and these words apply to you in James 1:7 – that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord. We must understand that we must remain faithful to God, in spite of what is coming against us. Romans 8:31b-If God is for us, who can be against us? 2 Timothy 3:12-yea and all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Job 14:1-man that is born of a woman is of a few days full of trouble. Jesus declares in John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. ARE YOU FAITHFUL IN SPITE OF THE PAIN IS THE QUESTION FOR ALL OF US TO ANSWER ON TODAY! It does not matter what thoughts the enemy may be bringing to your mind via someone else or even yourself, as a believer, one who confesses Christ as your Lord and Savior, you owe it to Him to remain faithful in spite of pain and or suffering. 2 Corinthians 4:17 – For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Romans 8:18 – Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later Psalm 30:5 – For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Has life’s issues brought you to a place where you are tempted to give up your faith in God? Here is a little pain medicine from heaven to you this morning. 1 Corinthians 10:13-There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. God’s mercy is new every morning. It is because of His mercies that we are not consumed. Oh yes, He is faithful! Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me! God bless and I love you all with the love of Christ.
