Psalms 147:3, He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Many today are tormented by memories, emotional wounds, and they are enslaved by secrets.Inner healing are critical in order for a Christian to walk in victory.Satan is our adversary and he will use any tool available which includes temptation, deception, and accusation to keep us down in our spirit. John 10:10 says, He wants to kill, steal, and destroy us. He looks for any areas in our lives that have not been submitted to the healing power of the Holy Spirit.Paul offers us a pattern for inner healing, restoration, and transformation when he wrote, Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think(Romans 12:2). The stories of our past are used by God to help us know why we act, feel, and think a certain way.God uses the unhealed hurts and pains of these stories to show us His love, power and provision as we move into inner healing. We need to know that we are a new creation in Christ, freed from the darkness of our past, forgiven of our sins, and freedom and healing are ours because of the Blood that Christ shed for us! Each day by applying the redemptive work of Christ to the areas of bondage in our souls whether it is physical or emotional or the healing of memories.Only then you will realize He carried our sorrows, anguish, affliction, grief, pain, and sorrow in His work on the cross. He loves us so much that He paid the price for all our emotional healing.
