Psssh....just psssh. I admit that I havent liked football in decades, and with just cause....for the longest time weve had a home team that absolutely blew. I have since vowed that I will pay attention to the Lions when they start earning back my respect as a former fan. What I have seen this season was quite a pleasant surprise. I think the team is heading where it needs to be to be considered a championship team. I watched todays game, and last weeks, and peeked into almost every other one for the season...you know...theyre getting my attention again, right? Right....and deservedly so. What I saw today was nothing shy of pathetic officiating. I never wanna be that guy that immediately starts blaming the refs for our mistakes and shortfalls, but I have honestly never seen anything like that. I call bullshit, and truly wish there was something, as a fan base, that could be done about that. Alas...we just take it in the pants, because there isnt anything we can do. So for all of my friends that are die-hards, I truly feel for you all tonight. Disgusting! Now back to my regularly scheduled hockey. Which needs its own help at the moment...
