Psychologically, this is a lost war for Israel. While Hamass - TopicsExpress

Psychologically, this is a lost war for Israel. While Hamass goal is to score the highest number of casualties on the Israeli side, they have no problem sacrificing their own people (as demonstrated in this film) as they sell them a holy death of a Jihad fighter- one which they claim is worth dying in the name of Islam. Some Muslim countries such as Egypt have already taken a clear stand against this strategy taken by Hamas. No matter the results, when this all ends they will celebrate their victory over the Zionist regime. For them, there is nothing to lose. No doubt this is a win-win situation for Hamas. On the other hand, Israel mourns its every loss. People here start each day in complete fear of hearing there were more deaths over the night. Plus, we try to take on the responsibility of causing the smallest amount of harm possible in our battle with these terrorists. When our enemy launches rockets into Israel while literally taking cover under piles of children, there is no right response. When this will all be over, we will hurt over our dead and those of the Palestinians and will face the world again in a hopeless attempt to regain its trust. No doubt this is a lose-lose situation for us.
