Public Security / Statement The security forces intervened this evening to disperse saboteurs and rioters who sowed chaos in Bilad Al-Qadeem village. The thugs committed acts of sabotage, destroyed public properties and blocked roads to disrupt traffic. The terrorists also attacked the security forces with firebombs (Molotov), stones and iron rods, prompting riot police to disperse them in order to enforce the law and restore order. In a statement this evening, Capital police director-general said that a number of saboteurs had been arrested. One of the saboteurs was hit in the face with an iron rod launched by a terrorist and was taken to hospital for treatment. His health situation is stable. Police are tracking down the other perpetrators involved in the acts of rioting and sabotage to bring them to justice and face legal charges.
