REPUBLIC OF KENYA NAKURU COUNTY PUBLIC SERVICE BOARD VACANCY LIST NO. 01 of 2014 The Nakuru County Public Service Board wishes to invite applications from candidates who have the requisite qualifications to fill the following vacancies: WARD ADMINISTRATORS Requirements for Appointment a. Be a Kenyan Citizen. b. Be a holder of at least a first degree from a University recognized in Kenya. c. Working experience of not less than three years. d. Have qualifications and knowledge in administration or management; and e. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution. Duties and Responsibilities The Ward administrator shall be responsible to the Sub-County Administrator for the following:- 1. Coordinating, Managing and supervising the general administrative functions in the Ward Unit. 2. Ensuring effective service delivery. 3. Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community. 4. Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service. 5. Managing the County Public Service. 6. Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services. 7. Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board.
