Public art and cultural wellbeing - 4th November 2013 Public art think-tank ixia has organised a second series of free briefing events on the relationship between the provision of public art and the inclusion of cultural wellbeing within the National Planning Policy Framework. The events will take place in London on Monday 4th November, in Wakefield on Monday 25th November and in Birmingham on Monday 9th December. The key speakers are: Ian Dove QC, planning barrister from No5 Chambers; Charles Landry, international authority on the use of imagination and creativity in urban change; and Michael Chang, Planning Policy Officer for the Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA). The briefing events are for arts officers, public art officers, planners, artists, curators, developers and arts funders.
