Pull on your pullover, Prime Minister Pull on your pullover, Prime Minister; put on your pullover, Ed Davey, as you stroll around the centrally heated corridors of power. Pull on your pullovers, says Ed Davey, and confesses he wears a pullover when he’s at home! As the cost of gas and electricity goes through the roof, as the old and the aged, the pensioners and those who have ailments of one kind or another, as they shiver at home not just with the cold but with the cold draught of financial disillusion, how will they survive? We just survived last winter – how will we survive the winter to come? All the long-range forecasts indicate a winter of great intensity. Will we survive the cold? And will we survive the financial chill? It is no good swapping around – all the utilities have raised their prices. It is no good turning down the thermostat and putting on yet another woolly – if you have just come home from a cancer operation that is the last thing you think of. But what do I think of, Prime Minister? I think about those Wind Turbine monsters that are each paying away circa £100,000 a year for 25 years to some rich landowner. And for what? Do they produce electricity efficiently? Not on your Nellie. They are vastly inefficient. And why are you doing this? Because of some ridiculous dictat from Brussels, to which you supinely agree. Do you think that we do not know the truth? It is the Green Taxes that have put the prices through the roof. The Utility companies are forced to buy electricity from these accursed Wind Turbines at hugely inflated prices in order to comply with some dictat from Brussels, regarding Carbon emissions. Not only that, you also hand over a cool £4billion of our money because you have not got the guts to say ‘No, we have had enough of this nonsense. We have finished with pouring our money from the empty into the void.’ Soon you will face the wrath of the electorate. How can you justify filtering our money in tax into the pockets of the super rich landowners? How many wind turbines are there paying out £100,000 of our money and all for a miasma? Do you think that we have not rumbled this enormous scam? Do you think that we do not know that atmospheric Carbon Dioxide that is 0.04% of the atmosphere cannot possibly cause Global Warming and neither can it cause climate change? Sure, we should fight against smoke pollution, but do you imagine that we are all so ignorant that we do not know that Carbon Dioxide is a transparent gas that green plants need and which in turn produces oxygen for us human beings? Those fell scientists of the IPCC declare that they are 95% certain that there is a human finger in climate change. I will tell you of what they are really certain. If they did not keep up this charade all the funding from UNO and various governments would disappear. They would soon be down on their uppers, struggling to pay their mortgages. Whoa! Let’s not stop the gravy train! So don’t bribe us with our own money, Prime Minister. Don’t swipe it from us in the first place. We don’t need two Civil Services, do we? We don’t need two judiciaries – we have our own. The logic is inexorable. We are spending £53 million a day on a club that is bleeding us dry. And you promise a referendum for after you have lost the next election! Can you imagine for one moment the contempt that is felt for this offer by the people of this realm? We need a Referendum now. Better still, we need a General Election so that the LibDems and all the Europhiles of whatever party are thrown out and so that we leave the EU for good – so that the people of Great Britain regain their independence. Let us paddle our own canoe. And let the EuroSceptics in Parliament choose – are they for staying cosy in the fold or will they strike out for what they truly believe?
